I like to describe our approach as editorial meets documentary. Most people don't know the difference between the two, so I will give you a very basic description. Documentary is 100% hands off. No posing or positioning, just purely capturing the day as it unfolds. I love this side of what we do. I love to step into a space and capture genuine moments as they are happening. These moments tend to be my favorite in the gallery. Editorial is when I position people and guide them in a pose, or movement, but it is made to appear as if they were already in this position or doing this thing on their own. Now don't get me wrong, I love real, natural interactions and emotions. The goal of what I do is to ignite these real emotions once I've positioned you. I want you to feel comfortable and enjoy being with the people you love on the biggest day of your life.
